In 1953, in the Nevada desert, a male roach falls in love with a female roach and tries to win her heart before a rival beetle woos her and the world ends as they know it.

The film will be a 2D digital animation in the vein of classic Looney Tunes's "Merrie Melodies," in which the narrative is supported by an original orchestral score, and leverage archival footage of 1950s nuclear tests.
